Sadly I feel that if everyone just paid attention to the TV and newspapers they would think of Islam as a violent religion that condones evil and terrorism. This could not be more departed from the truth. I know that journalists need to sell papers and producers need to get viewers, but surely the truth is more important. Islam comes from the word 'salam' meaning peace. I don't see anything in the news about this.
